ABOUT MEAM

Founded by Ir Dr Syed Mustafa Kamal, The Medical Electronic Engineering Association Malaysia was registered with the Malaysia Associations on 25 July 2014. The association was established to create a platform for Biomedical, Electronic and Medical Engineers of the Ministry of Health Malaysia in enhancing professionalism in medical engineering. This organization will also produce Professional Biomedical Engineers in the implementation of Act 737, Medical Devices Act 2012.

Empowering and strengthening activities focused/focused on the field of biomedical/medical electronics for staff of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Improve knowledge, skills and experience where possible enhance the professionalism of officers in the field of biomedical/electronics medicine.

 LOGO DEFINITION

 

The group logo contains the letter EM between two red graph lines. The red graph line symbolizes medicine. There are shadows the letter E is blue which symbolizes technical. All of this lies within a red crescent shape symbolizing the Ministry Malaysia Of Health.

OBJECTIVE

  • Encourage and assist members in forming and enhancing knowledge in fields related to medical/hospital/clinical electronic engineering activities with emphasis on high quality and high safety standards among patients through cost effective means. 
  • Encourage and assist members to hold meetings, seminars, trainigs and programs of study. 
  • Promote, develop and disseminate hospital/clinic engineering technology. 
  • Promote the principles of integrated planning, design and evaluation through better collaboration between careers.
  • Promote more efficient management operations, maintenance and safety of hospitals/clinics, engineering operations, equipment and buildings.
  • Offers cooperation with other international organizations.
